The Second Annual White Marlin Fishing Tournament Ends at Marina Cap Cana

Coming in Second Place, in the Category for Best Angler was Miguel Ricart with 200 points from the Boat “Malcria.” With the same amount of points, Mr. Luis M. Fernandez from the vessel Tomahawk, was awarded Third Place in the tournament.

The Best Boat award was won by the vessel “The Sound Machine” after accumulating 400 points, with Mr. Michael Laison, Raul Rodriguez Jr. and Noah Howell aboard.

The 2^nd Prize for Best Boat was won with 200 points  by Miguel Ricart, Jose Luis Ochoa and Elias Ignacio Cruz aboard the vessel “Malcria.”

The Boat “Tomahawk” with  Jeff Rannik , Luis M. Fernandez  Patricia Mejia and  Oscar Batlle took Third Place.

Other Categories awarded were Best Video in which Carlos Ascuasiati from the Boat “ La Bury”  took 1^st place .

In the Junior Angler category, 14 year old Raul Rodriguez took home top honors. The Junior Category as well as a new category for Top Lady Angler will be included in the coming  tournaments of the 2010 Fishing Season at Cap Cana.

The Winners were awarded with an array of prizes such as free stays at Cap Cana, gifts from sponsors and free use of slips at the magnificent Cap Cana Marina facility.

Sponsors for the event were Oakley , Seguros Constitucion ( insurance company) Presidente Beer, Alaska Water , Shell, Secrets Sanctuary Hotel , Spot ,Balanzas y Equipos , Acquamare , Mitre and Il Cappuccino Restaurants.
